How Do I Clean Cast Aluminum Cookware?

- Sep 04, 2018-

• Always allow pans to cool to room temperature before cleaning. Sudden changes in temperature may cause the metal to warp.

• Soak cookware in warm, soapy water and use a plastic scrubbing pad to gently remove stuck-on food.

• Avoid the use of scouring pads and abrasive cleaners as they will scratch any nonstick coating.

• To remove water spots or minor stains, wipe with vinegar or lemon juice, then rinse thoroughly with water, and dry with a soft cloth.

Pro tip: Dishwasher use will diminish the release properties of nonstick coating over time. So if you want to make that favorite pan last, hand wash your nonstick cast aluminum cookware to maximize longevity.
